2017 On September 21, the Department of Corporate Taxation raided 20 offices in Siddhartha in Karnataka and Goa. The income tax department claimed to have suspected tax evasion.
After graduation, his father wanted him to join the family business, but he wanted to do something on his own.
1983 He went to Mumbai and joined the financial firm JM Financial Limited as a management intern.

1994 He bought a mild coffee hardener in Hassan, Karnataka, and named it Amalgamated Bean Company. He soon opened retail stores throughout Bangalore, where he previously sold coffee powder from his estates.
Previously, he also exported coffee to various countries around the world, especially Brazil. Until 1995, As a result, his Amalgamated Bean Company became the largest exporter of coffee in India.
1995 He met with the owner of the German coffee company Tchibo. Owner Herz talked about how his company became the second-largest company in Europe in just five decades. This story inspired Siddhart, and he opened 450 outlets at the end of the year.
1996 He planned to open a cafe in Bangalore. He introduced the idea of a cafe to his business partner and his wife. They rejected his idea; because he wanted to charge 25 INR per cup when coffee was 5 INR per container.
The first Coffee Coffee Day (CCD) in 1996, Mr. Siddhartha opened the Brigadier Road in Bangalore. Until 2000. As a result, he created 22 cafes in South India, and 2007. After all, there were over 200 CCD stores in India.
