He has 3 music gurus – Rajendra Prasad Khazari, who taught him classical Indian music, Direndra Prasad Khazari, who taught him the scoreboard, and Birendra Prasad Khazari, who taught him Rabindrasanga and pop music.
Arijit began his career as a singer by taking part in the 2005 reality singer Fame Gurukul, nominated by his guru Rajendra Prasad Khazar, but unfortunately he took 6th place.
Before becoming a singer, he spoke freely with such musicians as Shankar-Eshaan-Loy, Pritam Chakraborti, Vishal-Shekhar and Mithun Sharma.
His favorite song is Phir Le Aaya Dil from the Barfi movie.
Shah Rukh Khan originally wanted Atif Aslam to sing the song “Gerua” from the movie “Dilwale”.
He has a nongovernmental organization, “Let there be light,” which works for the poor.
2019 Arijit won the National Film Award for best vocalist Bint Deel from Padmaavat.
